The Executive Director of The Well/Pro Agency, Dr. Robert Portadin, MD, is himself a physician with over 30 years of experience practicing medicine in the United States. His professional life began in the city hospital setting of New York City and later brought him to the suburbs of New Jersey. During his long medical career he built a successful private practice in the Tri-State Area where he is currently the Senior Partner. In the past, he’s also served in a hospital administrative capacity during a 13-year tenure as the Head of Obstetrics & Gynecology and a 2-year term as the Hospital Chief of Staff at a major N.J. Medical Center. Robert’s strong belief in the ideals of medicine and healthcare, coupled with the need for a medical recruitment agency that shares those principles is the driving force behind our business practices. He believes that healthcare recruiting should take an agent approach to search and recruitment that benefits the candidate, employer, and recruiter equally. That’s exactly the standard we hold ourselves to everyday at The Well/Pro Agency.

Robert Portadin recognizes the shortage of skilled professionals that exists throughout the medical and wellness community and the great difficulties employers face in finding the candidates to fill this void. Likewise, he knows firsthand that mustering the energy and inspiration to actively seek out new opportunities for employment can seem daunting, particularly when you’ve made an emotional investment or spent an extended period of time in your current situation.
